In the Gallery/Gallery-Adjacent

This is a subset of my Overlooked series, focusing on the scenes and ordinary objects that we ignore and may actually walk over in daily life. I find these aesthetically interesting when focused on, captured, and presented with the eye of a street photographer. In this subset, such tableaus are amid the β€œart” on the walls, pedestals, or floor, yet these are unrecognized as worthy subjects of art in themselves in this context. Some of them are Gallery-Adjacent, meaning next to or within a block of a gallery or an art supply store (therefore within the expected view of the artists entering the building).

Captured in camera. Not set up. No Photoshop compositing.
